Independence of Peru:
It is known as Independence of Peru to the historical period in which a revolutionary process gives rise to and reinforces the creation of the Republic of Peru from the rupture of the Viceroyalty of Peru, to become an independent state of the Spanish monarchy.
On July 28, 1821 General Jose de San Martin, commander of the Liberating Expedition of Peru from Chile proclaims independence from Lima the Peruvian State. Then, under the protectorate of St. Martin, the first steps with the formation of a constituent congress. In the final episode of the war, under the command of Simón Bolívar, in 1824 there is the campaign of Junín and Ayacucho, ending with the capitulation of the royalist army, and ends the Viceroyalty of Peru.
The independence of Peru is one more chapter in the wars of Spanish American emancipation continental scale began in 1808 and concluded in 1829, Peru's independence was crucial to secure the release of America, and 1 dealing with the Spanish monarchy the nascent American states seeking to obtain their independence.
